Spirit Roses Helpful Selling Hints...

You've found the right product for your group and now comes the selling part. Contact local stores and venues that have the greatest amount of traffic and ask for permission for your group to set up a table in front. Home improvement stores, large discount stores, malls, grocery stores, and community events are some very high traffic areas that would give you the greatest sales opportunities.

  1. Create a colorful and fun poster to advertise your product and your group the week before your sales events.

  2. Advise your sales team to be polite and have a lot of fun selling the product.

  3. Brainstorm with your "Sales Team" to think of ways your buyers could best use this product.

  4. Show up early, set up the table with decorations, the poster and your products. Use colorful props.

  5. Tell your customers how your group plans to use their profits.

  6. Give demonstrations (dance teams, scouts, cheerleaders, choirs, etc.) to attract additional attention.

  7. Avoid being too aggressive or annoying. A complaint to the store management cost you sales opportunities.
Clean up your area after you close your sale.

  8. Make sure you thank the store manager in person for allowing your group this opportunity.

  9. Thank your "Sales Team" for their efforts.

  10. Congratulate yourself on a well-organized fundraising project.
